What is the Cash Passport card?
Cash Passport is a longed-for solution to your foreing trips. It is a prepaid, reloadable, password-protected card which can be used for purchases and withdrawals in more than 1.5 million ATM machines within Visa, Visa Electron and Visa / Plus Networks around the world.

How does it work?
The card is loaded with Dollars, Euro and Libra and purchases and withdrawals are always made in local currency whatever the country the client is in.

Where is Cash Passport accepted?
Cash Passport is accepted by more than 14 million affiliated merchants worldwide (such as shops, restaurants, bars and hotels in 150 countries) for purchases; it can be used for withdrawals in more than 1 million ATM machines as well. Please check the ATM locator in www.visa.com.br before travbeling. *In countries subdued to political or economic embargo or sanctions by the US, there may be restrictions to card acceptance

Cash Passport major features

  • Cash Passport is accepted in more than 14 million Visa affiliated establishments (restaurants, hotels etc.), as well as for withdrawals in more than 1,5 million ATM Visa, Visa Electron and Visa / Plus Networks around among 150 countries.
  • There is no IOF (Brazilian Financial Operations tax) incidence as it is a credit card (in other cases the tax is usually rated at 2.38% on the total value of the invoice).
  • Cash Passport prevents risks of exchange rate floating against high Dollars, Euro and Libra rates, and may be reloaded as many times as the client wants, even through remote reloading.
  • There will be up to 2 additional cards available for the client, providing access to the same account.
  • There will be no taxes on purchases and the withdrawal tax is
    US$ 2,50 / EUR 2,50 / GBP 1,70.
  • In case of remaining funds when coming back to Brazil, you may keep it for your next trip, withdraw it or reload the card with the desired value.
  • Cash Passport may be replaced in case of loss or robbery. Balance and statement may be accessed through the site www.cashpassport.com, or through free-of-charge calls to the 24h attendance center in Portuguese Language.
